Sad “Easter?” Cactus help
Hello. I am sorry I dont know the right terminology. I’ve had this cactus for about 5 years, I believe it is an “Easter” cactus. The “leaves” are very floppy and thin and limp and wrinkly. You can easily bend the “leaves”. In an attempt to improve its wellbeing I repotted it in a mix of potting soil and heavy amount of perlite. I moved it to my most sunny window of morning indirect light. Should I trim off the more limp “leaves” to help the rest of the plant thrive? Any other tips?
For comparison, I have a couple of “Thanksgiving“ cactuses and they are not limp like this one. The branches stand upright and the “leaves” are plump and kinda hard. Not floppy and not bendable. They also flower every year. I water and fertilize them all the same.
