One day Shivapuri Nature Hike begins from Budhanilakantha after driving for about a half an hour from center Kathmandu. You will issue national park entry ticket at the counter, which costs 1000 NPR per adult for foreigners, 500 NPR for SAARC nationals, and 100 NPR for the locals.
After issuing the permit, army checks your bag for national park protection. Fire meterals, weapon, meet, and eggs are not allowed to take with for the hike.
There are no shops and restaurants, however there is a Kuti (place for holy man) after walking around 3 hours, where you can have noodles, tea, and also Dal Bhat.
We recommend taking snacks and the most important think is water at least two bottles each individual.
