This little thing helped punch a fan into the radiator and wreaked havoc on the axles

2nd time in my career I’ve seen a brake pad puncture a tire
Another cop car in for overheating, luckily not exactly hard to find the source 🤦♂️
Back to our regularly scheduled programming. Another lease van coming in with a slight brake noise…
Law enforcement vehicle came in with no coolant in the system due to a blown radiator end tank. LEO did not realize it due to it likely occurring while transiting a very dusty and rough construction area for 15min. Was brought in to us for spark knock and CEL. Coolant temp read close to ambient after sitting for 30min, engine was locked up and the oil temp showed as pictured.
AFTER SITTING FOR 30 MINUTES
Nothing surprises us on these leased vans anymore
Customer came in claiming their ABS module was failed, they put an abs sensor in and it didn’t fix the issue. Customer simply installed the sensor wrong…
Starting to see a concerning amount of delivery vans (Transit and Promaster) where drivers are forcing through the parking brakes. Normally, with failed actuators due to low pad life we were seeing them towed in, now they are simply finishing their routes…
PSA - Wheels with inner valve stems (Raceline and Etc.) do not clear 4 runner calipers. This one had the tpms sensors mounted on the inside and claimed a tapping noise as they were driving. Discount Tire did not notice during install, and as always, it became our problem
Engine mounts on the 2500 and 3500 failing and rubbing through the p/s hardline. Consistent failures on Amazon vans.
At this point i’m not even surprised anymore
Vehicle came in with zero coolant and a slight misfire. With the radiator cap off it smelled like a charcoal grill. Carbon on thermostat upon inspection. Engine felt neutered and timing was pulled as far as the ECM would allow. Amazed that it drove in, more to follow on this one…
