Another shops shenanigans
Customer rolled in. Another shop couldn’t break loose the caliper bolts, so they sent him on his way. Wow
If you are going to put the accessories at the back, take a lesson from Rolls-Royce and make them accessible.
This wasn't even the customer complaint. Said they never heard or felt anything
Umm found this in the cabin air filter. Not sure what they are. No smell, brittle and easily crushed. Not even going to attempt tasting them.
Edit - Turns out they’re laundry scented beads, they just don’t have a smell anymore. Explains why they broke apart so easily. Owner was completely baffled and guessed his GF did it from something she saw online.
Little white balls and the half circles are orange. Crush almost like a little piece of chalk, but doesn’t leave a mark like chalk. This is sorta out of left field but wasn’t sure if anyone has encountered this before. Vehicle was brought to us a Facebook marketplace purchase. Owner and purchaser didn’t know anything about it
On Today's Episode of GMs TPMS programming
Lower pressure than yesterday, green instead of orange.
Decided to take a picture sitting still to keep everyone happy.
Customer stated: Spontaneous PTO Shaft Disassembly
Make me feel better lol
So I’m in my 2nd year apprentice and I’ve had a few cars come back over the time, just had one yesterday with a few fucked bolts and stuff, idk how normal it is to fuck up this much and I just feel terrible about it so could anyone tell me how normal this actually is
My 70 f250 hauling my 70s vending machines to there new location
I have a small vintage vending machine business that I use my 70 f250 to haul my machines, and I use a 77 civic to do my run
Just rolled into the shop... barely
Blows my mind honestly. Left with 2 new MT2s
My dad texted me saying he got a rim job today. Then sent me this.
What’s that peeking out of the corner…
yeah no wonder my AC smells like gas. The EVAP canister connectors are completely gone and the AC pulls the air from above the front right fender where the canister sits.
These new Lamborghinis need a few more drain plugs, and good luck adding coolant!!
New Revuelto oil service with 13 drain plugs, 13 crush washers, and a million screws. Check out the lockout tag on the HV cooling system reservoir!

Thank you for your service. I gave this filter hell. I didn't go over the service interval. I don't know why it's somewhat collapsed like that.
Fuck this car and the horse it rode in on
2019 Ford escape 1.5t, came in for a trans replacement, 6F35, told the boss "couldn't be too bad I just did one of these" only now I am VERY AWARE of the fuckass auto start/stop system and every component it adds, the two electric water pump tied into the intake CAC, and the CAC radiator, which I would've avoided removing, but procedure says to remove starter ya have to remove the oil filter housing, I said "nah fuck that, watch this" I am EATING my words, it's like assembling spaghetti, and I barely had access to the TC bolts, then you get into the trans fluid temp control system, trans heater on the upper rear of trans, ties into the bypass valve in front of brake booster, which ties into the mostly normal trans cooler, pulled the bumper, only to find out you gotta remove the active air shutter, and drop the rad support, that was a whole mess of metal lines, 8 seals total, And ofc that's not all
You also have an electric auxiliary trans pump, that DOESNT COME WITH THE TRANS, (why?) but they give you rebuild kit, so I rebuilt it, cleaned it, not bad, took just over an hour, no specs for it tho, Then miscellaneous bullshit, a cat-to-transmission bracket, (gotta pull the studs) a retarded battery tray, (not difficult just stupid) rusty pinch style ball joints, getting covered in wheel liner insulation, and you're gonna tell me this bitch pays 9.5 HOURS?!? THE FUCK? anyways fuck Ford, at least with Mercedes, VW, Audi I expect this shit, honestly I think they're easier, and the customers usually have money, but this mfer getting financed through carmart, yeah...
GM has some interesting TPMS logic.
I'd love to know the programming logic behind these sensors some days
