very few companies make it out of there and the playbook is almost always the same.

new ceo, promises of new products that unfortunately never launch. plenty of reverse splits to not get delisted from official stock exchanges for a while until finally bankrupt. selling all science etc for pennies on the dollar to a competitor or better just another company the same people opened up. leaving investors in shambles.

very unlikely but if there ever was a turnaround it has to happen about now. once big money decides an asset is uninvestable there is a 99% failure rate

there are so many companies out there making real money and still their stock sucks. that is dot just without making money and delivering on promises

money wants to see a leader afterall, and Gav more then only a little bit made clear he gives zero fks, i just watched the fireside chat from web3 summit in june and my god it is so terrible. this just adding to all the other terrible things he said

If things don't change we will see the dreaded “winding down/sunsetting” X post from Polkadot within the next 18 months.

Dear DOT community, holders of the DOT and KSM bags.

For years you have bought the dips, some of you are long here and know only dump, others have grown accustomed to DOT constantly dumping, some of you are new and just bought this year and now are at loss.

I thank every one of you as members of the DOT community for your dedication to this project, but look what has become with this token, our portfolio are graveyards that are always in red, our wallets are cloaked in red given the constant dumping of the whole Polkadot ecosystem, the treasury has been used to pay outrageous salaries to ambassadors, curators and others; bounties have been used to fill the pockets of a few while no results nor effects were evidenced from such spending; parachains and apps have been leaving the ecosystem while others simply faded into obscurity.

All of our savings in ruin, the next wave of dumping will sink our investment much more. the dumping comes in waves we have never seen, one after another, first at $55, then at $20, then at $10, then at $6, then at 3$, then at 2$, then at 1$ and now at $0.86.

We are expected to hold to $0 in duty by Polkadot loyalists, the "diamond hands". To hold the line, the truth is we cannot.

There is no victory to be had here. As a veteran DOT holder I cannot ask you to hold to $0 to a project that was lost long ago, first were the parachains which failed now it is reinventing into "JAM".

Sell, sell all of you. Sell while other tokens are low, you can still make it if you buy other tokens, this one is doomed, pumping the least when other tokens pump and dumping the most when the other tokens dump.

Take this pump as an exit pump to move somewhere else, take this opportunity to save yourself. Many of us veteran holders of DOT have been humbled by reality, back then harcore defenders of DOT now we see the truth. Don't repeat our mistake.

I tried to connect to Aerodrome from a fresh install of Metamask, I have no other wallets on my mobilephone, first I used "Explore" on the Metamask app, then I change the network from ETH to BASE and then write the aerodrome address, then connect with WalletConnect and choose Metamask and then I am stuck in eternal loading.

Then I tried to use Chrome and Brave and the same happens it is eternal loading. On Brave I disabled shields.

Then I clear cache and data on the Metamask App and try to install again from the App store and simply nothing happens, whatever I try nothing happens I am stuck at eternal loading.

On the Metamask App I allowed notifications and permissions and still nothing.

Going to university was a total waste of my life despite doing good, and I wasn't able to get a good job, now I gained skills on something totally unrelated like Excel and Google Sheets, I have done pretty good and automated many tasks, I work part time and get paid half the min wage.

Honestly I am tired, all these years wasted on university I should have had learnt to code when I was in my 20s. But having wasted this much years in my life totally demoralized me and I am really tired having to start over.

Knowing Excel and google sheets isn't enough to get a good job, I am learning SQL and Python, yet I have been procrastinating, at my age I am tired, I have spent my 20s studying things that didn't help me in life and studying more tires me despite this time it is supposed to help me.

I fear if I get a slighter better job I will keep procrastinating, will enduring this exploitation help me achieve my dreams? It has been 2 years since I told myself I should learn SQL and Python and drop out weeks after.

Calles llenas de sangre donde los sicarios matan libremente a las personas, los extorsionadores no dejan trabajar y te roban el fruto de tu trabajo además de los policías que piden coima para hacer su trabajo.

Los sueldos son una miseria, trabajar sin descanso para empresarios explotadores que por hacerte trabajar 48 horas a la semana te pagan sueldos que no alcanza para vivir además de pasar 2 horas o más al día en el tráfico.

Trabajar y trabajar para darselo a políticos que se suben el sueldo cada vez más a la vez que velan por la destrucción de derechos sociales y te dicen que dar sueldos dignos daña la economía mientras les dan excenciones tributarias millonarias a sus amigos agroexportadores.

Calles llenas de polvo y basura, ciudad gris sin areas verdes, con un clima que está siempre nublado pero nunca llueve, aquí la feadad es la reina y la fealdad y el mal gusto dominan todo.

Violencia, fealdad y pobreza, es lo que caracteriza al Perú.

Mientras que el Estado espera que los peruanos trabajen hasta los 75 años dado que ya no tienen hijos, los peruanos al no tener hijos, y por ende gastos buscan disfrutar de su dinero en sus mejores años.

Tengo conocidos solteros que ya se jubilaron, ya no trabajan, chambearon bien, invirtieron y ahora disfrutan de su dinero, se van de vacaciones y no tienen hijos.

Estoy perplejo, no sé de qué va a resultar de perspectivas tan contradictoria, ¿qué va a pasar cuando no solo los peruanos no terminen trabajando hasta los 75 años como espera el Estado sino que se empiecen a jubilar a los 40?

Suponiendo que es todo legítimo y nada es estafa.

¿Qué harías?

En salud, por ejemplo una cita en el SIS te dan cita en el mismo día, los medicamentos están disponibles, el sistema de salud te cubre muchas enfermedades y medicamentos.

En educación, la calidad de esta mejora, tienes profesores capacitados enseñando bien a los jóvenes y mejorando los test PISA.

En seguridad, las extorsiones a choferes de buses cesa, los robos de celulares cesan, ya no hay casos de sicariato.

En infraestructura, empiezas a ver que se empiezan a construir carreteras en todo el Perú, empiezan a pavimentar las calles y ya no ves distritos de "pura tierra", empiezan a ampliar parques y areas verdes, etc.

Luego de ver estos cambios, ¿cuánto tiempo después dejarías de evadir impuestos y empezarías a pagarlos?

La mayoría trabajamos de forma presencial y nos comemos horas de tráfico, estos trabajan de forma virtual, se conectan al grupo de whatsapp y se ponen a sermonearnos al resto y decir que debemos trabajar demás. Que los descansos son distracción que hay que sudar la camiseta. No dejar ningún tiempo muerto, estar siempre activos, etc.
