So I know y’all probably don’t care but Aesop rock’s music honestly helped me a little in life right now.
I just started listening to his music a couple months ago and have some merch of his. I started listening to rap music since I was little and i always loved it. It helped me go through a lot of the bad times. I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression at around 4 or 5 years old and ever since my depression got worse and worse by the years. I started self harming around 12 years old and sadly I just turned 15 and I still do it. I went to a mental hospital a couple months ago and I’m on medication that hasn’t helped. Aesop rock’s music has helped me get through a lot and distracts me from a lot. Have any rappers helped you out?

Hi my name is Charlee and I’m 15 and I want to be a musician/ music producer. I was honestly wondering what type of genre Aesop is and can I make beats kinda like is style? Will that get me anywhere In life?!? I am NOT a good rapper at all I personally love making beats but I’m not really good at it to be honest….a lot of people I know think girl rappers are bad…(which I’m a girl and it’s sucks)
Makes me insecure a little about rapping. I listen to a lot of rappers like death grips,Danny brown, Billy woods, Earl sweatshirt, JPEGMAFIA….etc I really need help here and I’m losing my mind over it. The main question is do I have to have a bad life to rap? Like do I have to live in the city and talk about drugs and stuff? Please tell me I need helpppp!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
