none of my friends play monster hunter, so i'd probably be doing almost everything solo. the combat and monster designs look awesome, but i'm worried the grind might feel tedious without a group. i usually like games where you slowly improve gear and builds over time, and i don't mind learning difficult mechanics if the payoff is worth it. i played dauntless a little while back and thought it was fun for a while, but it eventually got repetitive for me. for people who mostly played monster hunter world alone, did it still stay fun long term?
