I think that the poem may describe how we move on a grid map.🧐 There are several map terms that I see possibly hinted at, and you read a grid map left to “right” and then then up.

This makes me wonder if wind could possibly be the answer. Wind appears in the book quite a few times. I also noticed the lady on this cover has her hair blowing in the wind. I have looked at several area around the Wind River Range, and there are some really interesting possibilities. What do you all think?🤔
