Help mounting an awning to OEM cross bars.
The awning came with brackets that don’t seem to work with cross bars, but work with roof rails or baskets. Looking for help mounting the awning to the OEM cross bars, without drilling the cross bars.

My 07 EX had a T155/D9016 spare tire on an OEM wheel. The OEM spare wheel is part #: Honda 42700-S0X-A51 Disk, wheel.
My OEM wheel was rusting out and the spare tire was over 20 years old.
I bought a brand new wheel and tire. The original old tire was GoodYear, and the replacement new tire is Falken.
Had the new Falken mounted to the new rim, and when I went to put the spare in the well, it wouldn’t fit. Even after bleeding it from 60 PSI to 10 PSI.
I don’t get it. Both the old and new tire were the same exact size. The old spare tire/wheel went in and out of the well easily, but new tire/wheel would not fit at all.
Can anyone explain this strange phenomenon to me? Please make it make sense.
It should be noted my 11 EX has a T145/90D16. So I opted to get a replacement in that size in hopes it will fit the spare wheel well.
I ended up ordering a T145/90D16 as the diameter is .70 inches smaller, and the circumference is 2.22 inches smaller than the T155.
