My lobster roaches are not eating
Last week I bought some lobster roaches and prepared a place for them in this box five days ago, but to this day I haven't seen a single cockroach even touch the food I put in, which was a container with dog food mixed with chicken feed, which they said is a great food for them. And on top of the egg cartons that I put as shelter for them, I placed pieces of slightly damp collards, and they didn't touch that either. From the first day until now I haven't seen any change in their food, as if it were exactly the same as when I put it. I only see them in the tube where I put water and cotton. Does anyone know what I should do? I also wanted to say that I don't see any roaches between the two egg cartons that I placed one on top of the other, which I also found strange. They only stay underneath and don't go to "the second floor" of them. Is this normal? I also don't know if anyone here does insect farming, but any help is welcome.
