My Yamaha CR-1020 bit the dust. I’m on a budget right now and need something temporary to power the KEF 104/2’s (landed these for 400 bucks!, - cones and Ferro fluid changed in the last 5 years).

I want to get the most out of them so I’ve read that hitting somewhere around 300-400 WPC into 4 ohms is ideal.

Budget is 300 ideally, willing to go up to 500.

Names I’ve heard: NAD, Carver, Adcom

Any exact model and suggestions welcome 🙏
