First let me say I respect every person beliefs whole heartedly. I often see people say things like laying the burden at gods feet, or being saved and not looking back. If you dont subscribe to a religion, what methods do you use to focus on just today. You know, sometimes taking things one day at a time can be hell in the beginning. What coping mechanisms do you guys use if you dont have a person to talk to or a religion? When its just you and your struggle, what gets you through?

Ive felt pretty annoying posting in here often and clueless. The comments really helped me navigate things but I really want to say thank you the people who DMd. Even in my first meeting I only had couple minutes to speak and I was so nervous I was all over the place. People messaged me and heard my whole story and gave guidance. Its really made me want to find a community in the program. Thank you guys for helpin a stranger.

So Im new to reaching out but I just wanted to get to know some people on here that maybe once in awhile I can reach out to for either somw directions or just to be able to talk so someone about things I have no one else to talk to about.
