Is arc 2 better than arc 1?

I finished arc one a while ago and I enjoyed the first few chapters, I was disappointed by the ending, specifically how they handled the magius. Which leaves me very unmotivated to watch arc 2. So I want to know , does it get better or will I be disappointed again?
