I’m 37. I noticed a lump deep in my left armpit that hurts when I press on it. I’ve had it for a few months. I showed my obgyn. She was able to feel it. She said there is breast tissue there. She’s sending me for an ultrasound of my left breast and the left armpit. But she didn’t say I should get a mammogram. If I had breast cancer would the ultrasound spot it? Should I push for a mammogram?
My son is 6 and is not yet potty trained for poop. He was constipated around ages 3-5 and the doctor said to get that under control before potty training. We keep the stool soft with MiraLAX. My son asks for a diaper when he needs to poop. For a prize he goes to the diaper and poops in the diaper in the bathroom. He has tried sitting on the toilet but he gets frustrated bc he says it never works. No matter how much he wants the prize his body doesn’t poop on the toilet. I said what if when you start pooping let me know and I put you on the toilet to finish the poop? He said no. Right now he gets rewarded just for pooping in the bathroom in a diaper. But I want to move on to the next step. I know my son and if I just take away the diapers he’d poop in his underwear or start holding in and get medical-grade constipation again. He doesn’t have accidents in school or anything. He waits to come home and asks for his diaper. Has anyone ever been in this position?
