First date went well, he asked about a second date on the spot — then radio silence for 48 hrs. Normal or red flag?
Quite new to lifestyle dating but Had a really good first date (brunch) this Sunday morning — good conversation, he brought up meeting again a couple times during the date itself, seemed genuinely engaged. He was traveling internationally the next morning and mentioned he wouldn’t know his schedule until he landed and got settled.
It’s now been almost 48 hours since the date (and roughly a day since he landed) and I haven’t heard anything — no text, etc. I also haven’t reached out first.
Does this read as normal (travel + settling back in + genuinely busy person) or is asking about a second date in person and then going quiet after usually a sign the interest faded? Thinking maybe not reaching out first on my end find give much a green light?
Curious what others have experienced with this specific combo — enthusiastic in person, quiet after, but with a stated reason (travel) attached.
