Critical Error on Multiple Elementor sites
Hi All,
I'm just writing because I've spent the morning resolving critical site error issues on a number of client sites and wanted to see if anyone else was having similar issues and if they're taking any kind of hardening issues to prevent similar in the future.
I tracked it down to a stack trace error
Uncaught Error: Class "ElementorPro\Modules\DynamicTags\Tags\Archive_Description" not found in /home/[site]/public_html/wp-content/plugins/elementor/modules/dynamic-tags/module.php:167
And similar errors across multiple sites.
Managed to resolve by reuploading the latest Elementor + Pro plugin files directly to wp-content (wp admin inaccessible) and it worked. Claude has suggested update version mismatch, which makes sense.
My question is: Has anyone else run into this after recent updates? Currently our auto-updates run after 7 days specifically for Elementor + Pro + any addons to mitigate site breaking updates that get put out, but I worry that here that might have contributed to some kind of mismatch between versions. Anyone else struggling with this? Do you have working solutions that you've managed to implement on your sites? Currently just trying to thread the needle between keeping plugins updated for security, and making sure nothing breaks when plugins update.
