My son is currently in 7th grade and would like to transfer to Gymnasium Nord.

We are new to Frankfurt and would appreciate some advice on how the transfer process works.

At his current school, he chose a WPU (elective subject) in 7th grade instead of French or Spanish. If he transfers to Gymnasium Nord, will he need to start learning French or Spanish, or can he continue with his current elective?

We would be very grateful for any information or advice from parents or students who have gone through a similar situation. Thank you in advance for your help.

I’m very happy for Shreyas Iyer and he absolutely deserves the responsibility, but how is Rajat Patidar not even in the squad? That makes no sense.

Patidar has consistently stepped up when given opportunities, led his team well, handled pressure, and performed at a high level.

You can debate whether he should be captain or vice-captain, but leaving him out entirely is hard to understand.

Selection is never easy, but when players deliver results and still don't get rewarded, fans are going to question the process. Patidar deserved at least a place in the squad. Being completely overlooked feels unfair.

Why These Players?
- CSK have Sarfaraz,Dube,Brevis,Urvil,Kartik Sharma, Prashant veer, Overton in their Middle Order options with Top-3 fixed as Ruturaj,Samson,Ayush so they can only give Urvil/Sarfaraz, which depicts that Sarfaraz is easier to get as compared to Urvil as he can be monster on his days and they will keep him as backup.

- SRH have Head,Abhishek,Ishan,Klassen,Reddy fixed top 5 then they have 3 options - Smaran/Salil/Aniket (From which they can keep 2 and trade 1 for indian spinner/All rounder) probably I guess Aniket will be easy target for us i exchange of Arshad Khan/Sai Kishore

- PBKS badly need good Indian Bowlers as Arshdeep and co are out of form, because of which they lost one of the best opening streak in IPL. Ashok Sharma / Arshad Khan / Prasidh Krishna are options they can happily accept but if provide someone like Prasidh/Arshad then Shasank should be our priority, if we provide Sai don’t mind getting Nehal/Suryansh Shedge/Vishnu Vinod

- LSG Trade has less chances because they have their bowling and top order fixed. So they also need someone for Pant and also middle order player just like us.

Also I am not sure about Hardik/Pant - But I suggest we don’t need them as we will need to concede a big player in exchange of them unless they agree for Sai Kishore/Ashok Sharma.

I would suggest getting Aniket/Sarfaraz has good probability in exchange of Ashok Sharma/Sai Kishore.

I know Sai Kishore is an asset but because of our team combination we are not having him as an impactful player as Rashid+Washi are our starters.

Look guys, before anyone starts crying, this isn't hate. I've backed this team through worse seasons. But does anyone else feel like this squad just isn't serious enough?

Even KKR in 2024 looked more threatening. You could see the intent, the hunger, the energy. With us, sometimes it feels like we're just happy to be there. We lose a crucial match and the next day players are posting stories about "chillin'" and having fun. Nothing wrong with enjoying yourself, but from a fan's perspective it's hard to see that when we're desperate for a trophy.

And no, I'm not targeting Shreyas. He's our sarpanch and he's done a lot for the team. But compare him to last year. The fire, the intensity, the body language it all looked different. This season he often looks like a man carrying a burden rather than leading a charge.

Honestly, the entire squad looks flat at times. Even after winning six matches, the atmosphere feels weirdly dull. Where's the confidence? Where's the swagger? Where's the feeling that this team genuinely believes it can win the whole thing?

Omarzai is one of the few players who actually looks switched on every game. The rest sometimes look mentally exhausted before the match even starts. Maybe we're reading too much into body language, but fans notice these things.

The talent is there. That's what makes it frustrating. This isn't a weak team on paper. That's why every loss feels worse. It feels like we're underachieving because the mentality isn't matching the talent.

I hope I'm wrong. I hope next season they come out with a completely different mindset and prove every doubter wrong. But right now, this team doesn't give off the aura of a side that's obsessed with winning a title.
