Need help

My ei runs out in a month and I have been job searching sincr my accident in Feburary. I have no car thanks to the person who hit me and am essentially stranded here.

I have been working with saskjobs and have been giving resumes to every business in town to no avail.

I am going to end up homeless if ei runs out even if I am on sis it wont pay enough for rent and food.

Can anyone help or offer some kind of guidance?

I can attach a resume here if needed. I can do any job as long as its in moose jaw.

Thank you for any help.

Need a ride

I have been trying to find a ride to the Rider Express bus station in Regina for the 15th of July.
Bus leaves at 8am that day, if anyone is heading out that way I will gladly pay for a ride. Just got one suitcase and a bag.

1225 Atkinson Street

So recently 1225 Atkinson Street went up for sale in Eastview.

I am the previous tenant who used to rent from the owner.

They had an insane mouse problem that they refused to deal with and at one point a few years back had wasps or hornets living in the walls of the laundry room. Didnt do anything about that either.

No insolation in the walls, foundation is falling apart, garage falling apart and no fence for the backyard.

Oh and the realtor never mentions the pests either even though you can see the piss stains on the carpet from the mice infestation in the bedrooms.

Wiring done sometime in the late 50's so I had an electrician come in at the approval of the landlord to estimate the cost of being able to install a new furnace.

Electrician said a groundplate, rewiring of the current outlets, new panel, and a new main breaker since the house had none. Total cost would be 5-7k depending on requirements.

Furnace is the same age as the house installed 1952 I believe. New cost of a furnace would be at least 4k. There is no central a/c.

They want $159,000 for it which means even with a 10k downpayment your mortgage plus property tax would be about $900-1000 per month. Plus the interest making the house almost over 200k For a house with nothing.

P.S

He decided that instead of dealing with the pests (insane amount of mice) he upped the rent from $850 to $1,800 to make us leave when we mentioned the mouse problem.

Then threatened out of nowhere that he wants to sell the house.

Do not buy this house.

Unless you plan to tear it down and make something new.

New to Moose Jaw!

Hello!

I recently moved here from Regina back in Feburary and love it here so far.

Just a few questions for people who've been here longer!

How is the local opinion on pride? (Im trans MTF)

And where is the best place to get a car fixed up?

Thanks for everything <3
