Eurowings lounge upon arrival in Germany - current status for Senator?
Hi all,
I am planning a couple of trips with Eurowings and I'm wondering what the current status re lounge access upon arrival in Germany for Senator?
It's not listed as a benefit on the Lufthansa website (as opposite to the Swiss website).
I have seen conflicting information:
- Travel Dealz mentions "You can also use the lounge upon arrival. The Swiss website and our personal experience confirm this, even if Lufthansa’s website does not mention it."
- There is a thread on FlyerTalk and someone mentions "The recent change of access rules included the elimination of the lounge access upon arrival for HON and SEN travelling on Eurowings 😡 I was granted access in DUS today, as en exemption. The Lounge Dragon was firmly quoting the new rules, although the scanner did give a green light and explained that there are some unpublished exemptions for HAM and BER."
Do you have any recent experiences? My first trip will be Spain to Berlin: what should I expect when I land in Berlin?
Thanks
