I booked ITA Business Class and got assigned seat 3C on the A220 for both flights. Only after booking did I realize they don’t even block the seat next to you, unlike Swiss. So you end up paying for business class and still get basically the economy hard product, unless you pay another €160 (!) just to choose a seat on the other side.
On top of that, it seems like you don’t even get a proper meal on intra-Italy flights. The flight hasn’t even started yet, and I can already say this: I’m not paying for ITA Business Class again. Absolute joke.

Hallo zusammen, ich sehe auf Social Media ständig Influencer, die behaupten, man könne Miete/Fixkosten problemlos und gebührenfrei zur Meilengenerierung nutzen. Nach meiner Recherche klingt das eher nach veralteten Methoden (wie Revolut-Aufladungen, die oft nicht mehr meilenfähig sind) oder teuren Dienstleistern. Gibt es hier jemanden, der das aktuell wirklich noch wirtschaftlich sinnvoll macht, oder ist das Thema 'Fixkosten als Meilen-Booster' in Deutschland de facto tot, sofern man nicht gerade massiv Umsatzschwellen für einen hohen Bonus erreichen muss?

I fly a lot for work (mostly within EU), and have accumulated over 80.000 miles so far.

I know that Lufthansa Group with its dynamic pricing has sometimes very good flight prices, like 1.000 miles for OW and some tax. I even found flight from WAW to ICN for 900 miles and 220€ tax (OW) some time ago.

Is there a forum where people share their findings, or is there a way to search a flight "to anywhere" and browse options?

Moin zusammen, vielleicht hat hier jemand Erfahrungen und kann mir Hinweise geben, was ich am besten mit meiner Prämienflugbuchung anstellen kann.
Ich habe für Ende des Jahres einen Prämienflug in der Business von Hamburg nach Hanoi gebucht. One Way. Die Flüge sind:
HAM-ZRH mit Eurowings, ZRH-DEL mit Swiss, DEL-HAN mit Air India.
In Delhi war die Umsteigezeit, mitten in der Nacht, mit 65min sowieso schon recht knapp(aber laut Internet machbar). Nun wurde der letzte Flug aber um 20min vorverlegt und 45min scheinen dem Buchungssystem zu wenig zu sein, weshalb die Verbindung scheinbar nicht mehr funktioniert und ich bei der MM Hotline anrufen musste.
Nach vielen Minuten an der Hotline und Herumprobieren des Mitarbeiters hatte ich am Ende nur die Möglichkeiten:

1. Den nächsten AirIndia Flug 24h später zu nehmen und einen Tag in Delhi zu verbringen.
2. Das Ticket erstatten zu lassen.
3. Erstmal abwarten.

Ich habe mich jetzt erstmal für abwarten entschieden. Leider war es wohl aufgrund der Kombination mit AirIndia nicht möglich, auf eine komplette andere Route, z.B. über BKK mit Thai, umzubuchen. Es war auch nicht möglich einfach die gebuchte Verbindung beizubehalten und zu hoffen, dass man es vielleicht doch schafft.

Ob ich mich nun für Variante eins oder zwei entschiede, muss ich natürlich selber wissen😅 Allerdings wollte ich mal in die Runde fragen ob vielleicht doch noch jemand einen Hinweis hat, wie vielleicht doch noch eine Umbuchung möglich wäre. Möglicherweise muss ich es einfach in einer Woche nochmal probieren und habe bei einem anderen Mitarbeiter mehr Glück?!(Der Herr an der Hotline war sehr nett und hat sich viel Zeit genommen, will mich überhaupt nicht beschweren. Aber vielleicht hat man ja beim nächsten Mal jemanden dran, der mehr Erfahrungen oder Rechte im System hat.)

After waiting for long time for the next transfer opportunity, today I found out to my disappointment that the Payback transfer bonus this time is only 10% 😞 Do you think it makes sense to transfer now or rather wait for the one in winter?

Die nachträgliche CO2 Kompensation ist ja bereits seit einigen Monaten nicht mehr verfügbar. Auf der Lufthansa bzw. MM Seite findet sich nur der Hinweis, dass dies vsl. ab Mitte diesen Jahres wieder verfügbar sein wird.

Hat zufälligerweise jemand hier weitere Infos und kann dazu etwas mehr sagen (bspw. für welchen Monat das angedacht ist)?

Ich stehe kurz vor dem SEN und würde gerne die letzten fehlenden Points so schnell es geht auffüllen…

I fly a lot with LOT and usually they credit miles instantly, once I even saw it done before we took off. Yesterday’s flight should have taken me beyond 650 points, but they still haven’t been credited. I know technically everything is fine but wonder if there’s some setting that wants to delay the qualification, so that it lasts just a bit less.

Also, I was wondering what do others do if you’re always around 1000-1200 points? It seems a shame to fly double the amount needed for frequent flyer but still not enough to be a senator. I wonder if I should prioritize another airline now that I’ll qualify, but it also seems counter intuitive.

As title says. Do you get status points for flights with turkish airlines? especially with a promotional fare ? not talking about qualifying points, just regular status points as you get them flying with united ie?

I’m flying TAP on a short-haul European flight and I’m considering making a bid for a Business Class upgrade.
I know that Miles & More normally awards 40 Points for a Business Class flight within Europe with a Star Alliance carrier, but I’m wondering if this also applies when the Business seat is obtained through a bid upgrade.
For some reason, I remember reading somewhere that bid upgrades don’t earn the higher number of Points and that the original booking class is still used, but I can’t find that information anymore.
Has anyone actually done this recently and checked what was credited to their Miles & More account?

My account got hacked two months ago and miles and more failed to secure it or freeze it. Called maybe 20 times but can’t get any results.

Is there a way to talk to security team or some at higher level support to get some results ? Hacker still accessing account and taking all the miles as soon as these are posted. I can’t do anything as hacker put his email as travel id and has new password. Service team is useless and saying it’s a back room security issue but said I can’t talk to them. Any ideas ? Thank you!
