I built a Miles & More tracker to know if I can make Senator this year

Getting to Senator is not just about collecting points. You need Qualifying Points on top, continental and intercontinental flights are weighted differently, and if you buy CO₂ SAF packages on Lufthansa flights those give you bonus status points and QP too but the calculation per flight is annoying to do manually.

I tracked everything in a spreadsheet for a while. It worked until it did not.

So I built MileHunter. You log your flights, it calculates your status points and QP in real time and shows you exactly where you stand toward Frequent Traveller, Senator or HON Circle. You can also toggle flights on and off to model different scenarios, and play around with CO₂ compensation packages to see the exact impact per flight including the HON Circle cap at 20%.

A few friends have been using it since the start of the year and their feedback has directly shaped a lot of what is in there.

Free to start. No credit card needed. There is a Pro plan for cloud sync and the M&M portal import feature but the core tracker covers most use cases.

Not affiliated with Miles & More or Lufthansa. Just built it because I needed it.

Happy for any feedback: https://www.milehunter.ch/

Miles expiration question

For those of us with the US Miles and More credit card- one of the benefits is supposed to be not having your miles expire. I just had some expire and am trying to figure it out. Here it says you have to use the card every month…does anyone know if it’s just the three months prior to mileage expiration? Or if it’s every month since getting the card? https://www.miles-and-more.com/row/en/general-information/terms-and-conditions/no-mileage-expiration-credit-cards.html

Positive M&M + Marriott Bonvoy experience

Had two stays and got the 40 points + miles within 1 day after checking out.
It does work on Luminous/Stars bookings if anyone was wondering.

Filed a DOT compliant against LH due to Miles and More

I saw couple other post this as well, I'm hoping the more they see this- perhaps they can be bothered to fix the system.

I have been unable to reliably use the Miles and More App or website or the LH app to book using my points for at least 12-14 months now. I know I'm not alone on this, this is a common post on here and rewards groups/forums.

I have done all the usual work arounds like enable MFA, re-install the apps (that did work once for me) but nothing is working for me anymore. It doesn't matter what class of service I choose either.

Lufthansa - you are the flag carrier of Germany, please act accordingly and fix this.

Senator werden

Hallo Leute,

Alex

Lufthansa ALU

Hi! I am looking at getting one of Lufthansa's Aluminum cabin suitcases. The business class one in particular, to accompany my frequent travels. Does anyone have some pros and/or cons? Please let me know! Also, Is there any other way to save some money on the suitcase, other than spending miles?

Thanks a lot! Cheers!

I got miles protection but I don't have status or a M&M credit card?

https://preview.redd.it/zq5xemdbyh1h1.png?width=2918&format=png&auto=webp&s=b703b285a7e74adfd5fef1e92aba79c31c0e3552

I was checking my mileage balance and found out my miles can't expire?

I don't have status with LH, nor do I have their credit card. Is this a glitch? How long do I get mileage protection and if I ever lose that protection do the miles expire 36 months from the end of the protection or 36 months from the time I earned it?

Beste Lounge LHR?

Moin zusammen,

Exceptional experience

Once again the M&M and LHG team just saved not only my day but my weekend.

  1. extremely nice contact via the hotline
  2. just amazing gate agent
  3. exceptional transfer desk agent

Situation:
Flight was delayed, did not catch my connection, could not get to my „point of departure“ - so my whole trip would have been f***ed.

Hotline, gate agent & transfer desk to the rescue: all nice, proactive, highly competent and simply solution oriented.

Linked my 2 separate bookings, diverted me via Zurich and now I am where I wanted to go.

THANK YOU! Just exceptional service!

I understand there are people that seem to have a bad experience and they share it. In my experience every time I need help, I get it quickly, without burocracy and always with a smile. So in my experience and opinion lhg is simply fantastic.

I want to get the Gold card in Germany, do you guys have any advice or suggestions for me?

Is Deutsche Bank decent enough to deal with? Can I auto-pay my credit card and/or can I pay in advance? For example, my cards from outside Europe allow me to pay them off as soon as the charge is posted. Does DB allow the same?

Or should I avoid DB cos they are bad?

I know my question is dry and not really great but I don’t want to go through the hassle of cancelling my card. I would much rather gather as much info as I can beforehand. Thanks.

Request Denied: “Passenger not on board”

I tried retroactively requesting miles for my latest flights through a partner company (LATAM), which weren’t credited automatically.

Most of them were accepted, but in four cases the requests were denied with the justification that “passenger was not on board”. I checked and my Miles and More number is correct on the reservation. All flights went according to plan and I boarded all of them without exception. For clarification, 2 of them were domestic (within Brazil) and 2 international (Brazil to Chile). Flights within the same reservation were accepted.

I’ve tried submitting the flight data manually or by scanning the boarding pass, multiple times. Nothing seems to work.

How can I dispute this decision? With whom can I speak? Besides boarding passes, what else can I submit as proof? I was unable to find specific instructions on the Miles and More website. I really don’t wanna lose the miles, especifically for the international flights, which were a bit more expensive.

Miles Expired - What should I do?

I had a big chunk of my miles expire. Do you know if Miles and More would reinstate it? I called the helpline but they told me to fill the contact form online.
