Which captains are better (speed or wind)? - Anno 117

I don't really get the difference about some of attributes of captains. If I want to create trade route between Albion and Latium which captain would be better for it?:

  • Abiding Closehauler which gives Unfavorable Wind Impact -60%, Favorable Wind Angle +25 and Province Transfer speed +20%.
  • Brisk Boater which gives movement speed +10% and Province Transfer Speed +20%.

I can't figure out difference between speed boost and wind stats.

Wheat production feels odd in this game. How is that one of the most important product in Rome was bread and in this game people seem to eat soap with olive oil more than bread?

Demand for wheat is way lower than in Anno 1800 and production for it seems to be afterthought. This raises the questions what is the point of breadbasket of ancient world (Egypt) if there is no demand for it? Do you think that they will adjust the bread demand when that DLC arrives?

So far I have been using Minerva at my capital. I played hardest difficulty and she has been very helpful to speed up the tech.

But now that we have Cinis and I'm considering to start new game and having Cinis as capital is Minerva "outdated"? Is it waste to use her at Cinis? Should I just use Vulcan there? Also Mars feels little outdated now that we have Vulcan.
