Fellow Dice Goblins! [OC]

I love making these little leather pouches although mine usually ends up with rocks or bits of sticks and bark inside. I hear goblins like bits and bobs...

Tavern Game for my Campaign. [OC]

I have a West Marches style D&D campaign going with a player roster hosted on Discord. My players were asking for a new tavern game for downtime so I made Talons. It has six hand forged talon game pieces, pewter "piece of eight" coins, and a leather drawstring bag. I'm hoping to use this game as an overarching adventure hook, something generic for the West Marches style so players can come and go from the storyline. We might even have a tournament in-game. I love adding in props and games like this to my sessions, I feel it adds a lot of atmosphere.

I bet all of my fellow dungeon masters out there have lots of great ways to add immersion to the game.

Blacksmithing and Gaming

I worked up these gaming pieces from 3/8" square. There is a little benchwork then an oil finish; the pips are done with a drill press.

I love making "tavern" games like this. Most of the time I will make the game pieces then figure out the algorithm afterwards. Kinda backwards to how most game designers work but I have to make sure I want to forge a thousand of something first before writing the rules.

I've made a few projects that I ended up dreading during production, how about you?
