I'm hoping you all can help or pass your phone to a human to prevent confusion. I need advice. My cat has acquired a whole new set of demands, I think after frequenting this subreddit while I sleep. One is churros. Do humans buy frozen and heat them up? Churro chips?
I just switched to a browser and looked up churros for cats because I was thinking cinnamon was dangerous (not just generally unhealthy) and realize churros are an actual treat. I assure you all that my cats live for temptations - it's not that they don't get treats, I just always buy what they go wild for. I am going ahead and posting though, because I believe you kitties will find my human mistake proof that we are inferior, and also proof you probably need a churro right about now.
I'm looking to return to an office setting and actually use my skills. I have about 13 years of solid experience in what I'm looking for (office assistant, billing, ar/ap, customer service, etc) - ai, human career counselors, and friends/family all say I have a really strong resume. They all say the jobs I'm looking for are within or slightly below my qualifications and skills (I've applied to a few places I'd really like to work for that I'm definitely overqualified for, but I see as a foot in opportunity to work for an organization I'm passionate about). I know the type of role I'm looking for is super competitive with a lot of highly qualified applicants, so I expected this to be a slow process - ESPECIALLY since I have a full time job and am being selective about where I apply - but one interview? I actually made round two on the one I did get, but what gives? I keep toying with the idea of seeking promotion where I am (Walmart) - but then I see all the leads not having the opportunity to do their jobs because they're stuck picking online orders... I have experience with store needs being more important than getting your job done when I was a store secretary when I briefly relocated - I don't want to revisit that. I've also thought about reapplying for where I was previously - I left on good terms... but I don't know if I can handle a daily commute out of town anymore. My driving anxiety has gotten worse after I got sideswiped by a big suv that totaled my car... I had anxiety about the commute when I was doing it daily.
