Does anyone elses store have a taboo on knowing what the rota is for the day?

I just finished and my managers didn't know I was scheduled to finish at that time.. when I was a dep I was on the ball with what times people finished, even as an assistant now I glance at the team rota to see how bad the day is going to be , but if I say about someone coming in at a certain time my colleagues will act like I devote my life to Aldi and stalk colleagues? I just look at my rota before my shift starts, I can't help having a good memory..

Store has two working headsets..

So much fun being thrust onto SCOs for 4 and a half hours with no way to communicate any issues I have not even be able to ask for support when I'm trying to fix issues with coins and every customer has red lights..

UK based question: has anyone elses rota not updated since Sunday?

My rota has not been updated since Sunday, is the app glitched? Or is it just me

Edit: rotas are up now as of 7pm!

On SCOs customer asks for bag and doesn't scan it as if I'm just giving away free bags

Sick of these people just being straight up abusing trust.. I'm trusting them to pay for it but they pretty much spit in my face.. I just treat them like babies when they do it and explain that the bags can be quite daunting to scan..

"Subtotal at this point" I have no clue what you mean

Twice I have had the same woman say to me "subtotal here and add the rest on" I have no clue what she means, out tills are ancient relics compared to other supermarkets, both times I just scan everything and she never complains even after scouring her receipt. It's so bizarre. Maybe I'm missing something, maybe she's a glitch.

Today I had two of my biggest pet hates on till. One customer got let through by a big trolley load so she stands slap bang in front of me and leans on the till whilst I'm still serving a customer, it's so rude and really gross, they need to bring back the screens for COVID.

Another customer turns my till screen away from me? She got all excited because she could turn it to face her.. I'm there trying to guess the total for her..

Another one yapping to a person they knew who passed, completely blanked me and held her hand out expecting a receipt? No you bitch you ask me for the receipt if you are going to just completely ignore me in favour of your retail reunion.

Also why do so many customers try and hop on with a basket when I have a red light and a red sign on my till that says closed? Then they have the nerve to roll their eyes when I say green lights only.

One day I would like to throw my till closed sign at a customer who tries to get on my closed off till.
