Which direction for mods?

Which direction for mods?

Looking at two different ways of upgrading my stinger to be fast when it comes to digs and rolls. I have Mid pipes, cat back, and intakes, paired with a lap3 1.5 ECU and stage 3 TCU tune. I'm guessing I make close to 500 wheel horsepower right now. So I can either:

  1. Upgrade head bolts to studs and add CPI for E50. This will require engine out and almost full disassembly to do it right.

  2. I can get forged rims and a lightweight battery to shave off 100 pounds total but around 300 pounds if you take into consideration that 1 pound of unsprung weight is close to 5 pounds of sprung weight.

I'm leaning torwards forged rims and lightweight battery right now because it is less stress on most components while also making the car a bit faster.

1988 Trans Am GTA, great deal?

Been looking for a 3rd gen trans am for a while now and found one that seems perfect, wanted to see what the consensus was? 5 speed manual, 305, with the digital dash for 11k.

Update: Talked to the guy and saw the car, GTA is confirmed, motor is 350 from corvette, transmission is world class T5, 9 bolt rear end. Everything else is stock and its rust free. Gauges all work but some readings are slightly off. I think 9k is a fair price
