Thermal pad thickness advice needed for ASUS ROG Strix G531GW (i7-9750H / RTX 2070) – CPU hitting 95°C

Hi everyone,I need some advice regarding the exact thermal pad (or thermal putty) thicknesses required for the VRAM, VRMs, and other secondary components on my ASUS ROG Strix G531GW (Intel Core i7-9750H and RTX 2070 mobile). Here is the situation: I recently repasted my CPU and GPU using Thermalright TF9. However, during that process, I noticed that the stock thermal pads (which look like a dried-out grey putty/pads) are completely cooked, dry, and brittle.Right now, when playing heavy games like Red Dead Redemption 2, my CPU temperature instantly climbs up to 95°C. I strongly suspect that the dried-out stock pads are preventing the heatsink from sitting perfectly flat on the CPU, creating a microscopic gap that ruins the TF9 application.I want to completely replace these old pads to fix the contact issue. What are the exact thicknesses needed for the VRAM and VRMs on this specific chassis? Is it better to stick with traditional thermal pads (like Gelid or Thermalright Odyssey), or should I buy high-performance thermal putty instead?Any help or diagrams from someone who has successfully repasted/repadded this specific G531 model would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
