how often do you guys focus on rehab in a week?

hello everyone currently six months post op and i have two dedicated gym days for specifically my ACL being wednesday and saturday and have monday and tuesday being my upper body days and off days i usually do some biking or walking and daily stretching and wonder for people who are in that awkward middle stage of rehab what do you guys do in a routine for your ACL journey?

gym frequency

about to be six months post op however honestly going to the gym is tiring so i opted in only going twice a week those days being wednesday and saturday and i wanted to get others opinion whether this is to little however each of my sessions last about an hour each and on non-gym days i usually do flexion work and go out on a cycle or even a walk is this enough or too little?

back of knee tightness

currently 5 months post op but the one thing that has always bugged me is the amount of tightness i have at the back of my knee as even after warming up trying to even attempt to go deeper to sit on my heels feels like my knee will explode and i’m wondering if anyone else has this issue and wondering if having an hamstring graft is a factor is back of knee tightness

5 months post op update

currently 150 days post op so pretty much 5 months now and want to tell you how it’s been going so far
during month 1 and 2 morale was overall low but doing decent but had quite a lot of flareups during months one and two however month 3 was when i could see that there was a big difference in how i felt back to running well more so jogging and finally being able to ride a bike outside however month 4 was nothing crazy apart from finally accomplishing box jumps. and now to think i was stuck in a hospital bed barely being able to move to now doing all sorts of things that i class as normal was once a fever dream to me. if you guys have any questions or need help let me know here although i may not be an expert im assured my advice is likely to be quite solid

flexion issues

i’m currently four months post op and i am able to run and do basic plyometrics and my knee feels really stable and i’m happy with how i’m recovering however flexion is still an issue for me i can still reach about 130 degrees without warming up however i am still a fists width from full flexion and i try to go deeper the tighter my LET feels and i’m really feeling this tightness on the outside and the back left side of my knee is this normal? and will flexion take just longer to come back

flexion tightness

i am currently 16 weeks op and have regained a lot of my flexion back and can reach about 135 degrees without even warming up however i’m around a fist width from full flexion and it has been lik this for a while as i hit around 120 degrees at week 7-8 and ever since then flexion has been really hard to get back is the normal and something i shouldn’t worry about? also in addition my leg does shake a little the closer i get to full flexion when i push past 135 to around 140 degrees when warmer up

jogging post op

i am currently 3.5 months post op and had my last session of mandatory PT yesterday due to where i live having a PT throughout the whole process is quite had due to a lack of PTs in my area unless i go privately but however i have no issue with rehabbing myself and going privately when i slowly return to sport in the future. however i have just been cleared to start jogging slowly but there were not any really strength tests however the physio thinks i am ready to do so is it better to wait an get stronger before trying or i should try now and gradually increase the speed over time

single leg press

i am currently 107 days post op roughly and have been doing leg press for the past week however with double leg i’m able to do around 70kg but with single leg around 32kg on my bad leg however i can easily hold the 70kg single leg when fully extended so would it be better for me to start the leg press and a less deep angle maybe around 60 degrees or keep doing it at the 90 degree angle and slowly progress

so i am around the 3 month mark and wanted to give my view of how recovery has been so far as i’ve managed to start going gym consistently an really putting the leg to work however not doing anything too heavy for example doing step ups with a higher step with 6kg dumbbells and finally managed to do a single leg press with 18kg on my bad knee which i dont even know is a good achievement and this stage or not and have not started any sort of plyometrics yet also at around 130 degrees of flexion. anyone else who is at 3 month mark or has been what was it like for you and how are you dealing with it

i’m currently 100 days post op (took long enough to get there) and i’m currently still aiming for full flexion however after warming up and doing attempting to do heel sits as i start to go deeper down it starts to get a lot more tighter as i try and i’m wondering could this be due to my LET as i feel most of the tightness on the outside and if i do go any lower i feel like it’ll just pop again and i don’t want that to happen im around six inches from my heels touching my butt
