More Plastic - Summoning | Brostep or Drumstep? (first drop)

I am normally very good at telling the two genres apart, and when I first heard this track I immediately thought it was Drumstep with a DnB second drop. But looking at the wiki, it says it is Brostep and DnB. That first drop sounds way too fast for Brostep but now I have no idea.

Anybody else think it is Drumstep?

How do I tell the difference from Trap and Future Bass?

Easily the hardest two major genres to differentiate (at least for me), especially when it comes to Heaven Trap and Twerk Trap. (Though Hybrid Trap still stands out very easily to me).

They share the same snare in the beat rhythm, almost always rest in the same BPM range (not like I pay attention to that unless it is very noticeable), and more similarities that always just stump me.

People always say "Trap uses drums and Future Bass uses chords for the beats"; They sound the exact same to me. People also say "Future Bass is not as aggressive and dark as Trap"; That is a very inconsistent way to tell the difference.

An example of this is Lost Sky - Lost (yes, I'm an NCS listener), before I knew the NCS fandom wiki showed the "true" genre of the song, I always thought of it as Twerk Trap, until my past thoughts were shattered to know it was actually Future Bass. Then I realized there were many songs I thought were Trap that were actually future bass by looking at the NCS fandom wiki, and very rarely vice versa.

I really would like to know the easiest, consistent way to tell these two genres apart. I would really want to be able to tell the difference on my own eventually. I just got finished being able to tell Dubstep and Drumstep apart on my own.

Rate my top 10

#3, #5, #6, and #7 have been long-term favorites from multiple years ago, so nostalgia is what carries those 4 most even if they aren't "perfect" in production. The rest of the songs here grew on me very quickly since I first heard of them, especially my current #1.

Day 1 of finding thumbnail frames

I started with Kontinuum - Lost because. A. it is one of my current favorite songs on the label. B. I randomly stumbled upon the frame used for the thumbnail of this release by accident.

After this I'll be going from oldest to newest but will be skipping songs where the circle in the thumbnail is a very generic shape like the one used in Different Heaven & EH!DE - My Heart and Deaf Kev - Invincible as there could be many frames in the upload with the same shape.
