Just wanted to share my plants.

Bought a new acer yesterday, the dissectum. Bought it while it was a bit scorched from the recent heatwave but it will manage.

All are doing great except the antropurpureum in the last picture, it just got new leaves after repotting it at the worst time. (It looks crap but it will recover)

My mikawa and shishigashira are probably my favorites. Still need a better / bigger pot, will repot after this season.

So my 7 acer collection:

Aureum

Mikawa

Shishigashira

Deshojo

Orange dream

Dissectum

Antropurpureum

Arakawa

All potted in pots with a soil mix of pummice, pine mulch, potting soil and a bit of compost.

Their not in their best shape due to the recent extreme heat wave.

Hope someone can explain what is happening to my aureum.

So I got this aureum last year, repotted it into a pot with well draining soil, made from pummice and pine mulch, and some composted pine mulch. It drains really well and all my maples are in great condition except my aureum.

It had some black branches. I cut them off. But i cant tell if there is something wrong with the plant.

Is it normal to have some die back?
