Is straightening of the bone required for success ?

I'm kinda split between 2 opinions from two credible ENT surgeons. First states, I need inner bone(attached to septum) straitening with piezoelectric device in order to produce permanent result, without the risk of cartilage reset. She claims she always does that to her parents.

Second surgeon claim it's completely unnecessary, he caries only risks.
