Hi all, I'm going portaging in back country this summer, and I wanted to know if bathing in the lake water is an acceptable practice?

For context it would be to maintain basic hygiene and the product is biodegradable soap (no shampoos).

I want to know if the park would have any issues with this, or if any backpackers do this? What is the etiquette around this?
