Last minute trip suggestions!

My partner and I are considering a VERY last minute trip to Greece, leaving in about 10 days from the US as I just found some very reasonable airfare. We've never been and have read 100 different things about where we should go.

-Flying in on August 31 early am and home on September 8th (could potentially push it until the 9th.) Flying RT Athens

-We're in our mid 30s. Not into nightlife at all.

-We're looking for a little bit of sightseeing, but mostly looking to relax. We've had an incredibly stressful year at work, so looking for a vacation where we stroll through town, enjoy amazing food and hopefully enjoy a beach or nice pool at some point

-So far we're considering 3/4 nights Crete, 3 nights Paros, 1 night Athens, or 7 nights Crete, 1 night Athens.

US Travel Recommendations

I posted recently about looking to travel with my wife for our anniversary. Originally planned on somewhere in Mexico, but I'm having a hard time justifying paying $1500+ a person for economy to get there for our dates. Thinking of switching gears a bit and staying in the US for this trip. Really open to anything! We love adventuring, so being on the go is an option, but we're also totally content staying at a resort for a few days.

-Considered Hawaii and found some great options, but still deciding if flying 11 hours each way is worth it for only a week (coming from the east coast)

-Would love a resort style feel. We recently spent a weekend at FS Orlando for a conference and despite the large number of families, we loved the multiple pools, restaurants, etc on site. Looked at FS Surf Club but not 100% sold

- Trying to stay under 1200 a night but flexible

Travel Recommendations for a last minute couples trip

We're a couple in our mid 30s and rarely travel due to my partners job. We've decided to take a week off around Labor Day this year to do something fun together before she goes back into her busy season and would love suggestions. Not set on going to a resort, but seems like the best option given our 3 week timeframe to book/plan. Below is my initial criteria but we're really open to anything!

Our only two luxury experiences were at FS Orlando and Rosewood Baha Mar. We loved both, but want something different.

-Flying from DTW and would ideally like to stick with a flight time of under 5-6 hours

-6 night/7 day trip

-Big foodies. We've done all inclusive in the past and hated it due to low food quality

-Family friendly doesn't bother us at all.

-Love pools and warm weather, but not beach people, so swimmable isn't a must

-Budget is 10k not including flights

Caribbean or Alaska?

I recently sailed with my mom on the Brilliant Lady to Alaska and fell in love with VV. I now want to bring my partner along to experience it! The only two cruises that fit with our schedule would be another 7 day to Alaska, or a 4 day out of Miami (could consider a back to back, but not sure about repeating all of the entertainment.) I'm definitely partial to the longer sailing because who doesn't love more time onboard, but considering the warmer climate one as I think scarlet night by the pool would be fun to experience. Besides the seahorse races that I know only happen on weeklong+ cruises, will we miss out on anything else I may have experienced on the Alaska cruise by going on the shorter one?

Alaska cruise tour vs on our own?

My partner and I are taking a cruise to Alaska, but wanting to add on a land portion at the end. As of now, we're booked with a cruise line that doesn't offer land tours, and really don't want to switch companies unless our plan is completely unrealistic. We'd like to spend between 5-7 days seeing Kenai Fjords and Denali. It seems like the best and easiest way would be to rent a car, although she's really set on taking the glass domed train at some point. Is this worth it or is it just going to add more hassle than anything? The cruise tours seem incredibly overpriced for what they offer, but maybe we aren't factoring in all of the expenses we need.

I've decided on a 2026 OBX for my next vehicle! Don't plan on doing any off roading, so I couldn't justify the Sasquatch package even though I loved the looks. Is the 314A package a must? By adding that, I'd lose the V6 engine in the option the dealer has. Otherwise I can stick with the V6 but have the 312 package. None of the added options seem like musts for me, but would love insight as I've never had a car with a 360 camera, etc.

Currently pricing out some broncos and considering a big bend and an outer banks. I test drove an OB yesterday with a Sasquatch package, V6 engine and fell in love with it, only to be told after leaving that the sales person mis quoted it and it was 15k more than he originally said. Now considering another OB without the Sasquatch but still has the V6. It's coming in around $190 more per month than the big bend. I'm leaning towards doing it as the upgraded seat material would be nice with my 3 dogs, but is it really worth it? I don't really plan to do any off roading, so none of that really matters to me.
