Looking to swap from Wallace Hall to Buchanan Hall (Double)

Hey everyone! I’m an incoming freshman for this Fall. I’ve been assigned to a double room with no AC in Wallace Hall and am looking to move into a double room in Buchanan Hall. If anyone wants to switch halls, or if you’ve changed your mind about attending the university but already got assigned to Buchanan, please let me know so we can do a room swap! Thanks so much, everyone!

Is this considered acceptable QC for a handmade BJD?

Hi everyone, I’d like to ask for some opinions regarding a quality issue with a BJD I recently received from Gem of Doll.
This doll cost around ~$400 USD and I waited for months for production and delivery.
When I received the doll, I noticed an issue with the blushing on the elbow joint. There appears to be uneven color and slight paint buildup along the joint line. This is visible under normal lighting and not just under extreme close-up.

I understand that handmade items can have small variations, and I’m not expecting absolute perfection. However, this seems more like a finishing issue rather than a minor variation.
I contacted the seller and the company, and they suggested I try wiping it myself

I did try gently wiping with a damp cotton swab as suggested, but it did not improve the issue. It seems the mark is within the blushing layer, not a surface stain. Removing it would likely require affecting the paint itself.
At this point, I’m hesitant to attempt further fixes on my own, since it could make the situation worse.
My main concern is:
This issue was present upon arrival
Fixing it requires additional cost or risk on my side
And the only official option is handling it myself
I’d really appreciate hearing from others:
Is this level of finishing normal for dolls in this price range?
Would you consider this acceptable QC?
What would you do in this situation?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
