I am trying out for the freshman girls soccer team on Monday and I have almost no experience. Any tips?

I’m a freshman and I really want to go to states or maybe ILc but I can’t decide what event to do. I maybe want to do medical terminology but I want an event that’s less competitive. any suggestions?
