It’s the little things

Even after school is already out, I get messages like this. 🥰 I just finished my 14th year teaching, and yes it is the most exhausting but rewarding career there is.

Why do I feel stuck?

I’ve been living in NY ever since I moved to this country and no matter what, I can’t leave this place. I could move houses, but every time I want to move from here, it doesn’t happen. I feel living here has been non stop for me, I can’t really relax, and I’m always on the go, pleasing others, working extra. Will I ever leave this place?

No teaching jobs

Hi everyone,

I’m currently certified to teach Spanish and have several years of experience teaching middle and high school students. My family and I are hoping to relocate to Florida, but I’ve been struggling to find a teaching position so far (I hear there’s a budget crisis)

I’m starting to wonder what other opportunities I could pursue with my certification and background while continuing my job search. Has anyone here successfully transitioned into another role in education or related fields in Florida?

I do have a Florida temporary teaching certificate, and my experience is mainly in Spanish education.
If you relocated to Florida and went through something similar, I’d really appreciate hearing your experience or advice. Thank you!
