What’s the biggest challenge with Long Island real estate right now?

Whether you’re buying, selling, renting, investing, or just trying to stay in the area, I’m curious what everyone is seeing firsthand.

Is it:

• High home prices?
• Property taxes?
• Mortgage rates?
• Low inventory?
• Getting an offer accepted?
• Finding affordable rentals?
• Permits, COs, or inspection issues?
• Something else?

Nassau and Suffolk can be completely different depending on the town, so feel free to include what area you’re in.

The goal of LI Real Estate Talk is to have real conversations about what’s happening in the Long Island market — not just post listings and advertisements.

What’s the biggest issue you’re dealing with right now?
