Might be a little jumbled, since it's both Jerry and them, sorry. I can't screen shot proton, so I copied and pasted the emails (from a ".team" which is another sure scammer sign). This is the "gold company," which you may have explored by now with some online research. Their site, Aurum Shield LLC (aurumshieldllc.com), is one of the newer scam sites that are pretty well written but still obvious for us. I read that they use it for various scams, and not just Advance Fee (which will happen here). The domain was registered July 2024, so they've used it for awhile. The owner's name was kept private, and the domain mailing address is in Reykjavic with a phone number in Iceland, so not too useful. But certainly NOT a real company, no surprise there. They want my driver's license, and it creeps me out to think that people will actually send those (this happened before u/delzbr made me the great fake one!). But sadly, they do. Then they want my signature, on an agreement. Which people might also send, ugh. Identity theft apparently is a goal here too 🤬

He started leaving for long chunks of time, even for days, right around now. It's like he's so lazy that by the time he gets to the details of the ask, he thinks they will complete the scam for him. He believes he has dumped all the ingredients in the bowl (talk about cars and art, attempts at romance and sex talk, and other stuff I deleted) and it's someone else's job to mix and bake. Owen was exactly the same way, and I had to use poppers under his nose too. This part is short, because he told me he voted for Trump and was a big fan, and you know how I get. But I'll post part 10 also to keep you awake!

If you had the "pleasure" of reading those ridiculous radicalized comments from what appeared to be him or someone associated with him, they are gone, and so is the "new member." There were 3 prior things deleted by Reddit before we saw, so I'm guessing he's riled up. Good. Anyway, this part drags a bit but it does include a decent but ridiculous fake certificate and a diatribe at the end that's much too personalized to be chat bot. Which means he might be smarter than Owen, and even more deserving of our hatred. I haven't had one whose tracker said Cape Town before, like his does, but possibly they have better education there. Given those deleted rants about Western civilization being the root of all African evils and the cause for all their crimes, it makes sense. Except that he has confused early British and Dutch settlers and the National Party with North Americans, and blames us for Apartheid? I don't even own any wooden clogs! Fuck politics. I'm just a lowly scambaiter trying to save some old people like me, and entertain others while I'm at it. Enjoy another part, Jerry. Eat it.

Once you get to the Ask, you want it to be expedient. But this guy drags it out longer than you will believe. At least we know there is one, and that fees will be demanded "at some point." But no worries, soon we will have a document, and some emails to keep us interested. In this part, he sends a travel update regarding the conflict in Iran, typical .gov stuff, with the implication that worldwide travel is affected and this will impact him. So y'all should cancel your upcoming vacay to the Iran beach resort! But there's also a crisis with Cousin Susan and the shipment of gold ingots, and apparently legal actions, so when it rains it pours! He did mention that we could use lawyers, and my pea brain couldn't seem to grasp a way in which to divert to Irving at this point. I might even have had a chance later when the fees invoice arrived, but I think I really dropped the ball all around. My brain is mush from the 3 long games at once. Might be time for a peaceful vacation in Israel or the Ukraine, I guess.

Last night, I got a message from "Jerry" and he was not too pleased! He is here with us, reading these posts. Like Owen before, not terribly impressed. He insisted he figured it out through curiosity and online research. Which could be true, since Google is a big fan it seems. There were no other obvious explanations and no contact info was revealed, so no moles possible. Anyway, I had already done my post edits, so it won't influence anything, and it certainly won't stop me from posting the rest! He will read right along with us. It always surprises me when someone who has lied from the start, about everything, wants me to explain why I lied. But that's how it always goes. Anyway, this segment has the messages from "Cousin Susan," which are meant to serve the purpose of making a lonely old lady feel loved and wanted. Plus get her to agree to the plan. Which always pisses me off. Carry on! If you see any sketchy comments, be sure to let me know. Enjoy this and the rest, "Jerry." Be glad I deleted so much.

I don't know if those nude sketches after a 30 minute phone call got him worked up or what, but I swear this was originally twice as long. He was feeling over confident with his "capture" I guess. Amateur idea, risky. But in their world this is something old women WANT and really NEED. I had one that sent me dick pics and tell me he was just "romancing" me, and really seemed to believe it. He couldn't believe I was offended. 😳 Anyway, Jerry starts by talking about going on a vacation with me (I cut out some shared hotel room discussion). Then an unrelenting mission to create some sexting, based on the idea that he had asked me about my "desires" on the phone. I would remember that! He might have said "do you desire to travel in the future" or something (I said Mackinac), but here he attempts to convince me that I said living alone equals desires for sex. Or something. Anyway, I ended up really pissed off at his insistence, and he must have been mad too, because he left for 5 days! Which honestly was fine with me at that point. No pokes given. But then he returns with some modified chat crap and solidifies the upcoming Advance Fee Scam, so I guess we're back to business.

This is a bouncy and choppy segment, but to be fair, he continues to attempt conversation and I had to delete buckets of boring stuff. Here, after his arrival in South Africa, I begin to see poor grammar slip in. Nothing too blatant yet. He's still pretty good with his research and his restraint from chat bot, but still. I'm excited that he mentions investing, and assume it's a crypto scam coming, so I try to squidge Irving in early. But that never pans out, because it ends up being advance fee with a fake company involved later. He also feels me out regarding wealth, and I give him plenty of reason to believe a big ask is best. He decides he likes me after all! I'm a "Fun Girl"! After, it's almost like the earlier lack of love bombing and his refreshing adherence to "just friends" seems insufficient to him, so he starts some. If you've watched shows like Social Catfish, you know victims are always very drawn in by the idea of being visited, and travels, and he throws that in. Ugh. Then! THE PHONE CALL consent, and he gets all pumped. He has to get permission to use the very good voice changer and they scramble to set things up, but then he calls and yaps non-stop for 30+ minutes. He absolutely talked at normal speed this time and barely any detectable accent, and seemed to have a list of topics. His interest in restoring cars, his artwork, many random things, then, gets all involved with investment talk. Occasional language slips occur, and he skillfully makes the signal "bad" right at those moments (scratching on it and muffling it somehow). It was like he hit the crack pipe and snorted a couple lines before calling, because he barely came up for air. I regret not having anything nearby to record it. But it was very realistic!

I'm hoping this post doesn't get taken down by Reddit filters again. Thanks for letting me know, and Part 2 is reposted. We're in the early stages, so not too much suspense, but I do like continuity! In spite of my many deletions to trim this up. Like my constant demands for interesting conversation. In response, Jerry is trying to put in the work here. He doesn't do too badly, except for coming up with one of the most over-hyped books of all time (next, he'll say The DaVinci Code was his favorite movie, but I do love it for a good solid sleep 😄). However, the CRISPR subject was surprising, and tailored to me! He's pretty good at this. He even throws in some unsolicited German for authenticity. Clever. Anyway, he's abuptly on the trip to the South African mines, with photos to prove it, so I'm hopeful the scam will start soon. There's nothing better than an efficient scammer with a quick ask!

I don't know why this got removed by Reddit for "violation of site wide rules" because I can't see any. If any of you know, please tell me. I'm reposting it because it's needed for continuity! I had spoken to him way more than this, but he was very verbose with his well personalized chat bot. Mostly, though, he used his own words, and has pretty good language skills. Still, massive deletions were needed to keep us awake. I thankfully began to know for certain that he was NOT a regular person (I've done that 4 times now, oops) since he brings up things here that are obvious. The lack of gross misspelling, bad grammar, and love bombing threw me off though 😂. His biggest and constant theme (mostly deleted) since day one has been demanding a phone call, and this is the preamble to my consent. I had already sensed a potential Advance Fee Scam when he mentioned mining, and now a trip to South Africa, but it begins to solidify soon. It will get more interesting as he brings in the cousin and the shipping company later. Meanwhile, a couple of strange voice notes to prove he is phone-call-worthy. Voice filter being is used and he speaks v..e..r..y s..l..o..w..l..y to make sure he doesn't sound A..f..r..i..c..a..n 😆

I've been on the fence about posting this guy because he was inconsistent. But Madison advised that if the ask is good, and it IS, then I should. So I've trimmed it down a LOT, since this guy was even worse than Owen. He modified the chat bot in the same way, making it more realistic. The history: he approached me on Penpal and, as many do there, started with VERY real sounding messages. I lost them because apparently they don't allow you to keep things long there. Oops. I honestly wasn't sure he wasn't regular folk, until what is shown in the early screens here. The scammy stuff starts showing up after his requested switch to email. He starts using chat bot, which he personalized a bit, and by the time we get to Zangi he begins with the usual script things. With enough of his "real self" included in all, which will continue. I immediately hate him and all I can do is hope for a decent ask when it arrives. It will.

Sometimes they just don't go away, even when you've surly said it all. It's like being at the casino, and thinking your one last chip will be the turnaround bet. Tommy comes back for a final crack at love bombing, which I eventually convert to anger again. He had such big plans, like pursuing his career as a musician, and going to college. The usual delusions. After I make ALL the efforts (and payments) needed to bring him to the dreamland. This is such a perfect example of what so many there believe. That WE hold the power to change their fate, and just paying for it will make it happen. Like WE can fill out that DS-160 online Non-immigrant Visa Application for them, get them through their Ghana Embassy interview, gather and show all their necessary documents, get their Passport for them, and jump through all their non-monetary hoops. Or, WE can get through their 100% paid first year of Ghana college for them (with the needed outstanding grades), giving them a chance at a student Visa. When they don't even take the time to learn proper English. Like u/Pure_Champion1396 said, you can study those things online! What always amazes me is that they never consider the hard work that most Americans do to determine their fate, and that many people here overcome adversity, even when born into the same situation of poverty and poor opportunities. Americans have a long history of seeking hard work to survive, even in the worst of times (like the Great Depression). All we can do is keep drilling that in. If they can learn new things, like not to click on our grabber links and all the other changes we're seeing lately, maybe they can also grasp that concept eventually. That's MY delusion, I guess. Either way, this one is finally blocked. I like that he didn't go away without a prolonged fight, because it convinced me his scamming attempts hit a road bump for now, at least.

If you ever wondered why I only get long games, this will provide proof that I have many very short and failed baits! Here, we see why you never mention Telegram in a certain way. But I did love his fast and furious response so thought someone else might 🤗

He had enough left in him to ask me for a $2k gift card, which of course I would have gotten him, if he had just told the truth! But they stick to the story no matter what sometimes. I think that's a definite proof they're still hanging with the crew and on to the next one. Oh well. So am I.

I guess he didn't appreciate the artwork, and had time to stew about everything. NOW HE'S BIG MAD. So last evening he came back around to tell me exactly what he thought of me! What is truly amazing is that he still thinks every Fargo character plus Irving and Diane were real 😂. I told Madison and delzbr, who poked at him too, just for fun. Plus Madison created a little more art for him, since he liked it so much! He returned again this morning and asked for a $2k Apple card for "food stuffs and groceries." But he's still saying it's for the stocking employee storage room (he finally spelled it right!), and I've told him it's the truth or nothing now. I'll keep you posted, but for now, enjoy the RAGE that we had hoped for!!!

After a long night of fretting, he starts back in, and I'm briefly able to rekindle his hopes before a quick reveal. It's not the usual, because by now I'm too stuck in Fargo to get involved with reality. Plus I'm tired of him, and feel like he wouldn't be surprised at anything at this point. In the next part, he pretty much feeds me the opportunity to slide it in like silk, then gives me the defeated response I expect. But I share some some nice artwork to remind him of our lovely 2+ months together, and Irving takes a final jab. From the things he said, I'm guessing "they" are going to add to his misery! You betcha.

Some funny-lookin little guy named Carl comes through by finding Jerry, who is crawling out of a hotel room in his boxers. So he brings the money to my home in Chicago! But I'm busy and can't "get going" until José finishes up the yard work, which is so much fun. Now that Tommy has seen a picture of the actual cash just sitting on the table he's finally rewarded and overflowing with hope of regaining the respect of his HK! He still takes the risk of being rude and demanding, and part of me wants José to come in to use the bathroom while I'm outside inspecting his work, see that money and poof! But I'm tired of Tommy so instead gather it up and go to the btm with Carl. While the tension gets high again, and Tommy freaks out when I never report back. I just loooove how upset he is when he doesn't hear from me. Did something go wrong AGAIN? Tomorrow is the big day.....

The final calm before the storm, when you know they realize that nothing in real life could possibly go this wrong or be this absurd. They cling to aggressive demands while their confidence crumbles, and they get all whiny and accusatory about your motives. Then you know it's time to end it. I just keep him busy here while the final burn is being planned. I buy time as I "go out with friends," and his second of three accounts with me (recall from the beginning!) pops into action to check up on my story, which he has been doing as needed throughout. He really thinks he has his bases covered but soon he will learn otherwise! I just have to pull together a fake cash picture and a final story, because we don't want to leave that funny lookin guy Carl out of all of this! Real good then!

I never knew what a struggle such absurdity would be, but fortunately, Madison has the ability to become "whoever" and keeps things flowing. Tommy seems to be made for Fargo, as he keeps calling Jerry creepy! He really wants my monthly living expenses money, though, and that's fuel to carry on. Of course, we know it's absurd to need $10k a month to live, but they will do the same to a person living on $1500/month, as we know.
