So I bought the polarizer film and was able to disassemble it but now looking at it not only is the polizer burned but this piece here that attaches to the heatsink (is it a bulb, idk) has a splotch on the plastic piece. Is it over or will changing the polarizer be enough to make it work normally again? The first pics with the white splotch, that piece is just plastic but I tried cleaning it with iso alcohol and it just does not go away. The part with the brown splotch, I assume that is the piece with the polarizer.
