2024 or Pre 2024

Hey I am a new rider in South FL , ive always loved the svarts since I was in high school that was like 5 years ago lol , currently 23 , finally decided im more mature to pull the trigger on a bike , got my license and am now ready to purchase I am highly debating though getting a used pre 2024 or a new 2024 model , aesthetically I think you can't beat the older models the new ones I dont hate but I feel like something looks wrong , but I also like the extra tank capacity and tech on the new ones , what are walls thoughts and what do you think would be better for me as a new rider , mainly short commutes 10-15 minutes i wanna see if this bike can hang on the highway will cut down my commute just taking 1 exit but obviously wanna get used to it streets only at first. If I do decide to take it farther I occasionally have an hour drive for work , it is a bit if rural highway at speed limits of about 65 but everyone always goes 70-80
