Future of the series after RAC 2029
I found out today that the RAC RR release date is pushed back indefinitely, which is a bummer. I was planning on filling time until 2029 with it and playing through the whole series. It did get me thinking though:
What might happen after the next game?
I know that I'll either start a war or get executed for this opinion, but I would be fine, in fact prefer, if IG did a couple of gameplay focused titles with a 2-3 year gap in between after the next one. I actually got into the series because of FFA (which is my favorite as of now. I've only played it, TOD, A4O demo, and RA, so give me a bit of a break), and really loved the gameplay focus. Don't get me wrong: The storyline and lore is extremely fun, but playing a storyline 3+ times in a row can get a little boring (story, ng+, wrench only on RA). With gameplay (maybe a little online action?), it's more fun to continue playing because it's not the same story over and over. And add a little lore. That is by far is my favorite part.
Also hoping RAC RR doesn't get Crash Team Rumble'd
