I finally got every platinum trophy in the Ratchet and Clank collection!

Having been a Ratchet fan since the original, it feels good to finally 100% them all. Now it's time to start achievement hunting in the PS2 versions, starting with another playthrough of Deadlocked. Even though I've done just about everything there is to do, I still want to go back and play these games again and again because there are no other games quite like them.

In the first R&T on the PS2 one of the characters says "viola" instead of "voila".

I recently played through it and took note of it, but was wondering if it was my imagination or not. Didn't feel like replaying the whole mission to find out, and promptly forgot about it

Will my sweet securely attached male Mainecoon become more snuggly again?

So my sweet Myrrh 🩵 has stolen my heart.. he’s my first cat ever. Weights 13 pounds at 7 months. I’m so excited to see what he grows into as every day he seems to shift… recently, started to become more peach and orange colors, instead of his initial brown, black and white.

But my question! He used to be SO SNUGGLY and glued to me. he recently stopped sleeping with me, wants to be NEAR me, but not on me. He’s definitely securely attached to me because he still follows me from room to room…. But doesn’t want to be held anymore😢 Is this a teenager phase that will change?

He brings toys now to bed super early in the morning instead of coming in for snuggles… he’s still purring, but he wants to play with me, instead of snuggle with me😢🩵

I randomly remembered the game modnation racers and how ratchet and clank were included as a DLC.

Modnation racers is a racing game that released back in 2010. The ratchet and clank bundle also known as the (parts pack) was first released as a pre-order exclusive once ordered from Amazon. Shortly after the pack was available for purchase to the public on the psn store! You guys remember this game or ever played it?

Started Ratchet and Clank Going Commando

After I finished the incredible Ratchet and Clank(2002) I started the second one very soon after

The games controls are great a vast improvement over the original imo

I deeply enjoyed the first game and I love that the sequel sorta makes it so some of your progression for the first game carries over in a way

I rank the first game a 9/10 it has some moments like the hoverboard races and the ship enemies that inflicted pain on me, but overall I had a great time

Hope the sequel is just as good if not better

Me realizing, i will probably never play another new Ratchet & Clank game since i won't buy a console where i cannot own the games i buy.

I'm nearly 30 years old now and have played R&C games since my childhood. Even the newer games brought back nostalgic feelings of a time where life was a lot easier.

With Sonys decision to make the next Playstation digital only and having no way of actually owning your games (physically), which was the only thing consoles had an advantage compared to PC, i will probably never buy another Playstation again.

(And since they reversed their PC strategy, there is probably little hope that another R&C game will come to PC)

I love the series but i cannot support this in any way. And i guess the more you get older, the more you realize that there are more important things than playing video game. Its more important to stand against this anti consumerism which strips you of everything you own so you can just "own nothing and be happy".

With that in mind: "Don't be sad that its over, be glad that it happened"
