I'm doing some work on my house and replacing the front door. I'm going to run CAT6 so I can have a Unifi doorbell. I'm also repositioning my cameras to better locations and trying to make a plan.

Does the Unifi doorbell an always on camera like the other cameras or is does it work like the Ring doorbell I'm using now? If so do people usually use the doorbell to cover that area?

I am just starting to refinish an antique desk. I removed the drawer locks without issue, but there is a material at the keyhole that is damaged. I don't know how to search to replace or if I can replace it. It is not metal, appears to be "plastic" or similar.

Can someone ID for me and if you know where I can replace.
