I found out that I got shortlisted for one of PETROS’ graduate program.

Does anybody know about the pay or benefits?

Hi all, I’m a fresh grad with almost 1 year experience under PETRONAS GEES programme. I recently got a job offer from a GLC in Sarawak which pays me RM3.3K. Benefits are slightly above average, but not totally amazing. AL and MC 14days (1/3 AL can be carried over next year), travel benefits are great. Medical benefits are covered, funeral coverage, bonus depends on the performance of company and individual.

Question: Is the salary low? For context, I have several certificates (and an undergoing Microsoft certificate) which is relevant to the job offered. I was also a top graduate (CGPA > 3.5) and got multiple awards for best student. If PETRONAS isnt rightsizing, my manager told me they would have hired me.

I would also need to relocate for this job, which I think is also an important point. I’m not a fresh “fresh grad”, so, is it reasonable for me to negotiate to 4K? Thats not insane right?

I’ve done my video assessment and still haven’t heard back. So, I want to ask how long does it typically take to hear a reply from them? Its been 8 days for me..

Would like to also know if anyone has ever made it through the Video Assessment!
