Progress on this santoku inspired chef knife, forge out of 1095 steel. It’s about 1/8” thick where the spine meets tang and tapers off in both direction. Just finished sanding will be glueing the handle up next.
Newest project I just completed, a small hidden tang petty knife. Let me know what you think of the piece!!
Steel = AEB-L
Bolster = brass
Handle = walnut (super cool piece of walnut I got from a local lumber store, extremely wavy pattern with very tight grain. Really cool shop called cambium carbon out here in Maryland.)
