Hi. I’m 3 months after getting my full top and bottom permanent 4 on 1 dental implants and I am having a very difficult time chewing. Is this normal? It’s very awkward and my gums feel swollen or like the implants are “pushing “ my mouth outwards? The most challenging part is not being able to chew after more than 3 months of having my permanent implants. Could be because it’s my entire mouth? I’m basically still on a soft food diet of soup, sorbet, mashed potatoes and some chicken if I slow cook it so it’s nearly disintegrating. Do I need to wait for another 3 months for the full fusion? I’m seriously worried that I will forget how to chew 😞
