About to take my first dose of Sumatriptan
33F, been having migraines for the past 4-5 years. They always affect the left side of my head, behind my left eye and at the temple, going down my face and the back of my head. There might be some bad posture involved too that makes the pain at the base of the head worse. The current flareup has been going on since Saturday. This time it spread into the teeth on the upper left as well. My dentist said I am severely grinding on my teeth in sleep and all the muscles there were sore. My pcp prescribed 25 mgs of Sumatriptan to begin tonight and I am just so nervous after reading so many of the bad experiences. I don’t have any of the health risks but I do have health anxiety, which does not help at all. Ibuprofen has not been helping and I am exhausted at this point.
