For context I’ve had my cats (Storm and Eclipse) since they were three weeks old. They are from the same litter and over the last five years have obviously bonded. Unfortunately, last night Storm had to be rushed to the emergency vet and was diagnosed with saddle thrombus. We ended up having to put him to sleep. I am worried about my other little guy. He obviously notices already that his brother is gone. He doesn’t see too stressed out as of today but I am worried about how the stress and grief may affect him in the long run. Does anybody with similar experience have any (non medical) insight at all on how I could console him? If so that would be great thank you.
