The sole reason I was considering the phone was for a full-screen experience without a frontal camera embedded on the screen and I thought the gimbal camera was there for that and guess what?

Someone had a brilliant idea to keep it anyways and now I have zero interest in it. To be fair it's my fault I didn't pay attention to the initial renders and what not but came back today to see the final official page and I'm just sad.

I just finished Episode 3 of Alan Wake after playing Control and I really enjoy it so far.

I think I came across my first similarity between the games (besides the paranatural stuff)

It got me thinking did the Hiss penetrate the Bureau in a very similar way it affected Alan?

In Alan Wake's Manuscript Touched by the Dark Presence it's mentioned:

"[...] It needed his mind. And so rather than taking him over completely, it merely touched him."

In Control there's a similar quote by Trench: "It started as a distant whisper, like something you'd hear in a dream. A far away voice telling me to "Wake up!" I'd open my eyes with those words still on my lips. [...]"

And obviously discreetly influencing the Director was the best strategy.

And now we have the "Resonance" a third Entity/Energy that's unleashed not so subtly into Manhattan. Which I feel is quite out of character for what's natural to these forces, the need to Engulf/Propagate/Control.

This furthers my suspicion that this event was purposeful either as a last ditch effort by Jesse to expand the Oldest House containment or an act from the Board and Jesse was caught in the middle and had to disappear for a while.

Basically the title because I haven't seen a single post about this even though there are countless posts about performance. If you have access to DLSS turn it on via the Nvidia App, if Farever is not added as a game simply add it from the game's directory.

I haven't even tried different presets, just used the recommended DLSS Quality for now and my fps went from average 90-100 to 140avg sometimes 190+ in dungeons.

Mileage might differ for you, but definitely worth a try.
