Of the mindset of many parents.

I was playing a mindless fun game on a beautiful Sunday morning.

I got a random commercial where and elderly woman expressed "she was raised to believe we parent thru different stages of our kids lives. Up until graduation either from HS or college.

Only now she's learned better and believes we need to be parenting children until we die, their entire life.

Yup, apparently she's offering a course in how to properly Parent Adult Children.

What. In. The. Actual. F.

I brought my children into the world in what felt like such a hopeful, inclusive and positive time in the world or my world in usa, on the cusp of Obama's first presidency.

And now they're about to enter adulthood in what feels like a state of dystopian despair with no hope or inclusion or anything remotely positive, under a president who's name I find to vile to speak.
