So if you like my repaint of the figure, and if you live in Ga I have posted it on facebook marketplace along with my extra Hammond collection metriacanthosaurus and parasaurolophus and are willing to take offers for the spino of those two. I know I shouldn’t probably post this here and may get hate but I’m just trying to get rid of the figure and just wanted to maybe spread it to people who live in Georgia and may be interested. ( if you have any questions leave them below)

I was right about the Indominus being camouflaged

So I know what keep posting in here about the Indominus but I just want to keep spreading news. So I posted the other day about a Mattel worker confirming that the Indominus is meant to be a camouflaged one and now I think I have more proof so if you’ve seen some reviews or photos you’d know that the Indominus color may look different in lighting well your right. So here in the first photo the Indominus looks like it’s normal light grey, this second photo it looks like a green/brownish tint of grey then for this last photo it looks like a very dark grey like brown color because it’s in a darker environment. I think somehow, Mattel pulled off a camouflage feature on the Indominus, not sure how, maybe paint, or like mixing in different things in the plastic I have no idea. So the point of all this is, this release is meant to be a whole callback to the “it can camouflage” scene, with the tracker accessory, and the figure meaning to look camouflaged. Overall I think this is actually really cool if this is the case.

The Indom’s tongue may be able to go down more than we thought?

So while we was watching this new review of the Hammond Collection Indominus I noticed that this guys tongue joint could actually go down almost touching the bottom of the mouth, so maybe some people’s are just stuck a bit or it actually can go almost down.

Well this is good news

Target seems to be getting ready Indominus preorders to ship soon so that’s nice. I’m actually really hyped for the figure

Better Prototype? Or false advertisement

So as pretty much everybody is aware, it seems the the Indominus can’t put its tongue down to the bottom of the jaw. Only up towards the roof of the mouth and to the middle of the mouth which mean it will be more difficult to do certain biting or eating poses but this render of the figure on the back of the box shows the tongue all the way down so I wonder if they just randomly changed it or just edited the photo or maybe the tongue is just stuck and can’t move properly down or what but just wanted to point this out

To the people who are curious about the Indominus Color..

As you can see I found this question on target’s website, and a literal Mattel expert responded and it looks like for some reason they wanted to go with a half camouflaged look. Another thing I’ve noticed is when the figure doesn’t have a light on it, it seem to get VERY dark looking so I wonder if somehow that’s intentional for the camouflaged look or something idk. Not sure why they wanted to give a camouflaged look. But it doesn’t look bad to me, still looks fairly good imo

I do like the figure but man, the color being brighter would’ve been really good

The sculpt and such still isn’t perfect but it looks better being white, I don’t hate the dark grayish brown at all but I do think the lighter colors would help to improve the look (photo source) Andy’sDinosaurReviews
